The service
Tradir collects job information, reviews requests, checks business interest and may present a private shortlist. You can select one, two or up to three businesses to request quotes from. A match, response, quote or completed job is not guaranteed.
Independent businesses
Trade businesses are independent of Tradir. They are responsible for deciding whether to respond and for their advice, inspections, qualifications, pricing, scope, contract, scheduling, health and safety, and work. You should make your own checks before engaging a business.
Your request
Give information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are entitled to share. Do not upload unlawful, harmful or irrelevant material. Do not use the service to test, scrape, disrupt or overload the website.
Quotes and agreements
A quote or discussion with a business does not create a contract with Tradir for the trade work. Any agreement for work is between you and the business, on the terms you both accept.
Website information
Catalogue guidance is general and may not fit a particular property. It is not technical, safety, legal, council or professional advice. Seek the appropriate advice for the actual work.
Site content and intellectual property
The Tradir branding, design and original catalogue content must not be copied, republished or used to misrepresent a connection with Tradir, except where the law allows or permission has been given.
Availability and responsibility
Tradir may change, suspend or refuse the service where reasonably needed, including for safety, misuse, technical faults or lack of suitable interest. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
Privacy and changes
The Privacy notice explains how personal information is handled. Tradir may update these terms for service or legal changes; the version shown when you use the site applies to that use.
